Elmo's Story...
Elmo is an adorable little puppy on the lookout for a responsible, loving and permanent home. Elmo is a bit under socialized and will need to be signed up for positive reward based training which will help build his confidence and increase his bond with his new family. Elmo would prefer to live with older, respectful children who will allow him the time and space he needs in order to feel comfortable. Elmo would like a family that won't leave him alone for long periods of time. He is a social little puppy and enjoys spending time with his people. He seems to be alright around other little dogs but will need to meet any potential house mates to ensure they will be a good match. A confident cat should be alright. We want the very best family for Elmo so we will be accepting applications and calling back the most appropriate homes to come in and met him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elmo, a Bellingham Papillon/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon/Pomeranian for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Papillon/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon/Pomeranian breeders who help with Papillon/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
