My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These dogs are being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.

NAME: Millie and Tillie
GENDER: Females (Spayed)
AGE: About 3 years
WEIGHT: Millie is about 8.5 Pounds
Tillie is about 9.5 Pounds
DOGS/CATS: Great with other small dogs, Unsure with cats
CHILDREN: They love people and will be great with children

Millie and Tillie are two sisters who came together to CRT. They are chiweenies (1/2 chihuahua and 1/2 dachshund). Their owner, who helped rescue dogs throughout the years, has passed away of cancer. In honor of her life work and the heart she had for animals, CRT agreed to bring Millie and Tillie in to our program and find them a new forever home. These girls are bonded and they really do well together. They have lived the first 3 years of their lives together and we would LOVE for them to be adopted together. If your home is open for two (or you know of a home), please consider Millie and Tillie.

Millie and Tillie have wonderful personalities. These girls could write a book on how to be super sweet, quiet and absolutely no trouble at all. They both get along great with the other dogs in their foster home. Millie loves to play with toys of all kinds. Tillie is less interested in toys, but occasionally she will pick one up for a little bit of fun. They also enjoy being outside in the sun. Tillie loves to chase squirrels - she has so much fun. They both love to explore and play in the yard.

These girls definitely do everything together. Even though they both have a doggie bed, they love to crawl in to the same doggie bed and curl up next to each other when taking afternoon naps. Their bond and loyalty to each other melts our hearts. Millie and Tillie will sleep in their doggie beds at night, but they prefer to climb up in your bed and sleep with you. They can often be found snoozing on their foster Mom and Dad's pillows on the big bed during the day!

Millie and Tillie love their humans. They want to be with you and share life, love and adventures with you. Their foster Mom has a home office and they love to cuddle in a doggie bed and snooze while she is working on her computer. And at night, they share lap time with their foster Dad as he watches TV. They will literally lay on top of each other trying to see who can snuggle the most with you! These girls rarely bark, even when their foster siblings are raising the roof - lol. If you have a dog friendly work place - they would be great for that environment. They would definitely enjoy being at work with you and your co-workers.

These girls are super smart. They are both 100% potty trained and have not had one accident in their foster home. They also know how to use a doggy door. They have fit in to the foster home routines immediately. Their foster Mom says they are two of the easiest fosters she has ever had. They are happy, they get along with dogs and people, and are just adorable dogs who want to be around their family. If you are looking for love - these are your girls.

These two girls are both 3 years old. Millie weighs approx 8.5 pounds and Tillie weighs approx 9.5 pounds. They get along with everyone, including children. They will make great family dogs. For anyone who is looking for a few wonderful companions, please consider these girls.
