Louise's Story...
Louise is a sweet girl looking for a forever home!

Louise is a 4 month golden lab/shepherd mix. She and her sister, Thelma, were found by Keely's in a high kill shelter in Mississippi. Does a 4 month old puppy deserve to be in a cage until her dying days? Uh, no. So, we got them out!

Louise has some spunk to her that we dearly love! She is full of life and loves everyone she meets- dog, child or adult. Since she is a young puppy, a family that has some experience with basic training will do well with her!

If you feel that this fur baby is the right fit for your family, contact us or fill out an application at: https://form.jotform.us/Keelysfriendsdogrescue/companiondog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louise, a Goodlettsville Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Goodlettsville, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Goodlettsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Goodlettsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Goodlettsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Goodlettsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
