Meet Vedder!! Vedder is a beautiful brindled 8 week old Australian Shepherd mix. Vedder is still working on house training but is doing great at it and he is getting better by the day. He is crate trained and is sleeping great in it at night although I am sure he would love to share a bed one day with his forever family. Vedder is fostered in a home with a doggie brother and sister and he gets along wonderful with them both. He would do great in a home with an active doggie playmate. Right now Vedder is all puppy and with that comes lots of playfulness and energy. His foster parents feel he will fit best with a family that has had puppies and very familiar with the time and patience it takes when raising one. Vedder would do best in a home with no children under the age of 10 right now. He loves to give puppy nips and bits so small children are not the best thing for him to be around right now. His foster parents are working very hard on teaching him not to nip and to play gently. Vedder will do best in a home with a fenced in yard. He is a herding breed so he will need lots of room to run freely inside of a fenced yard. Vedder is going to be an amazing dog to anyone who adopts him. He may need some puppy classes to help guide him along the way. Vedder is being fostered in Huntsville AL but can be available in your area. He will come to you fully vetted, up to date on all shots, and micro chipped.
