Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tucker (formerly Midnight #5) is a 2 year old neutered male black lab who weighs 69 pounds.
Tucker has adjusted very nicely and continues to entertain his foster with his goofiness. Tucker prefers bathtubs over crates: he will lay in one quite happily- even if empty- but tries his best to escape from the other- while sharing his tail (sic) of woe with anyone who will listen. Tucker is great at fetch and adores riding in the car. He will counter surf if you leave interesting things out (interesting to a dog = anything of value) but is learning that there is less and less to steal so he is wasting less of his time checking things out. Tucker would probably do best with someone who is home more than not because he really appreciates an audience for his antics. He does still want to exercise the cats, which may upset many cats and their minions, so we have changed his status to 'no cats'.
He loves to ride in any car. He is pretty good on the leash too, although he does pull a little, for those times. Like any young Lab, he needs enough exercise to tire him out which will keep everybody happy. Tucker would fare well with additional training, which would help him bond with his new owner, establish boundaries, and provide mental stimulation. Tucker is a bit fearful of new people and loud noises so introductions should be slow- nothing patience, understanding and increased exposure can't fix.
