My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chihuahua mix, Female, 3-5 years, 10 lbs.
Addie was brought to one of our partner shelters as a stray after she was found wandering and eating dirt to survive. This precious little girl is so sweet and loving, even after what she has been through. Addie is nervous with new people, but will shyly approach for cuddles if you sit on the couch. She loves to snuggle and give kisses once she knows you. Addie does well with other small dogs and cats, and would like a home with another more confident small dog to show her the world is not so scary. Addie is house trained, rarely barks, and does not need to be crated. She is very quiet and gentle and would likely be okay living with one or two equally quiet and gentle children (12+). Addie is a homebody and would like a relatively quiet home with few comings-and-goings.

** If you are interested in adopting this dog, you must first complete an adoption application at http://peppertree.org/adoptapp.php. Or visit our site (http://peppertree.org/adoptlist.php) and learn about other Peppertree dogs. *Note: visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
