Meet Joni Mitchell, a 13 year old girl who only had one home her entire life until she found herself in the shelter after a move that could not include her.

Joni has been with us since May, and we hope she will not have to stay her long as the shelter is a very stressful place for a cat her age that has never left her home! Joni was very scared at first, but is now coming out of her shell and befriending everyone she meets! Joni Mitchell loves to rub against you for attention, and is OK with other quiet, friendly cats. Joni is used to bonding strongly with her person, and will make one lucky person very happy! If you have been waiting for a healthy, older kitty to spoil rotten and be your trusty sidekick, please consider Joni Mitchell!

Joni Mitchell is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.

Our Adoption Process...

No cat can be adopted without an adoption application being completed. You can find this form on our website, or stop by and pick one up. You will be notified by telephone or email as soon as your application review has been completed. This process generally takes 2-3 days. If there is a cat that interests you, a $25 non-refundable deposit can be placed on the cat and it will be held until your application is approved. If you are not approved your deposit will be returned to you. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Our adoption fees are $200 for a kitten one year and under, $125 for cats over one year and $50 for special needs cats. If adopting 2 cats/kittens you will receive a $25 discount off the total fee. The adoption fee includes testing for feline leukemia and feline aids, spay/neuter, rabies, distemper, worming, flea treatments etc. Some cats and kittens may not be able to receive all of these vaccines and it will become your responsibility to make sure your new cat's vaccines are tended to. All new parents receive a health record stating what vaccines and treatment the cat has had.
