Samantha's Story...
Samantha immediatley grabbed our attention, she is just gorgeous with the softest coat you have ever felt. We rescued this collie mix from the shelter and took her to our vet where we were told she has vision problems. This energetic girl handles it so well that it is hard to tell she can't really see what is going on. She definately needs an adopter who is aware of her condition and willing to work with training her so she can have the best life possible. She is currently with a foster family who tells us she is a very loving dog! Be sure to check out the video of her bouncing around!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a San Antonio Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
