Romeo's Story...
ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN THE TRI-STATE AREA.
Romeo is the definition of a cuddle bug. He is a 1 1/2 year old shepherd/ Chihuahua mix and weights about 25lbs. He enjoys his afternoons sunning himself in the back yard while playing. Romeo enjoys long walks as he has a lot of energy. He would prefer to be in a home with older or adult children. He does get along with other dogs as long as they are bigger than him and non-confrontational. He is house trained and wee wee pad trained although he thinks wee wee pads are for babies, and he is NOT a baby! (According to him at least). Would you like to give this precious little man a home? If so, please go to bestfriend.petfinder.com to fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Cranford German Shepherd Dog/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Chihuahua for sale in Cranford, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Cranford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Chihuahua breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranford paves the way for another one to be saved.
