If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at the shelter and stay for a short interview. Unfortunately, you will not be able to take me home today. We are looking forward to working with you.
Please be advised we only adopt to AZ residents. We make a commitment to all of our animals. So while we appreciate your interest, we ask that you be a local resident to adopt. We do not always know the full background of each animal and sometimes personalities are not fully shown until a few days in the home. If for whatever reason you cannot keep the animal, we appreciate the animal being returned to our facility. It is costly and time consuming to return an animal from out of state. Please check your local animal shelter to find a forever friend near your area.
Where I came from…
I was brought to Sun Valley Animal Shelter with my brothers to help me find my forever home. While much of my history is unknown, the good people at the shelter have taken the time to get to know me more to help me find the best forever home for me.
A little bit about me…
I am kitten, so I have LOTS of kitten energy that needs to be let out. I am always on the go & investigating things around me. Keeping me busy with lots of toys, interaction, & activities will help keep me happy & out of trouble.
I have a very great & affectionate personality, & am constantly seeking out your love when I am not busy investigating the world around me. I am also very vocal, so being okay with a talkative cat is necessary as well. Because I am still a kitten, you still much teach me the rules & regulations of your home, & also how to play and act respectfully. Patience is key to teaching me these things.
I have a longer & beautiful coat, so regular grooming will be required to keep it looking healthy & mat-free. Brushing me regularly to keep the tangles away, & I am at a young enough age to where I can get molded into a routine of being brushed daily.
My ideal home would include…
Someone who understands that I am a more advanced kitten (as I am higher in energy & also have a lomg coat that needs regular maintenance) so someone with this kind of experience would be needed for my forever home.
Someone that is okay with having a longer haired cat that will require regular brushing to keep my coat shiny & mat free. I am young enough to help be molded to get into the routine of being brushed regularly.
Someone that will have patience with letting me warm up to them as I can be a little nervous around you at first, but will go away once I realize all of the love that you will give me!
