Toasty was born from a couple of great working sled dogs with the intention of being the next generation team. Health issues arose and so the musher felt it was best to pass them along for their best interest. These are energetic pups that are very affectionate but haven't had much handling. They are adjusting well and learning lots about life alongside people and not just living the working dog life.
Toasty is the largest pup we received from the litter. He is a big sensitive boy though. He is more on the timid side. He is affectionate but he takes some time to come around and feel secure with the attention. Once he is comfortable, is all in and gives kisses in exchange for belly scratches! He is learning about leashes and controlled walks, he is eventually figuring it out but to start out, it sure takes some effort to get him moving. He simply needs some time and patience by his guardian. He does have a fair bit of energy and will require a guardian who understand what his daily exercise needs are.
