My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pookah is a stray picked up from the back roads of Isle of Wight County. A friendly girl who either had a hard past or still having a hard time adjusting to shelter life..she is still quite scared. Who could blame her, she went from open roads to a loud noise kennel. While she is available for adoption we are really hoping to find her a special person to work with her at the shelter and help her to over come her anxiety until her forever family comes for her. Pookah is a smaller hound mix estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs roughly 40 pounds. She is pendidng all her vaccines, spay and heartworm test.
