**Margot needs a home with another well-adjusted, secure dog that she can learn from. No Exceptions**
is a female Poodle/Australian Shepherd mix only 1 year old. She is unique and one of a kind for sure, with a fluffy, somewhat curly Poodle-like coat and gorgeous blue merle Australian Shepherd coloring. She is a truly beautiful young dog. Margot is medium sized, currently weighing 22 pounds. Her full grown ideal weight should be about 30 pounds. Margot has sweet, soulful chocolate brown puppy dog eyes and an innocent puppy way about her. When she is excited she will bounce up and down on all fours and actually smile. Margot is a very quiet and feminine girl. She enjoys treats immensely and so one sure fire way to her heart is through tasty morsels. Margot is excellent with other dogs and can be enticed to play by more outgoing, more confident canine friends. She may do best in a home where there is another dog she can follow around and learn from. Margot is extremely shy and will take some time to warm up to and trust her people. We aren't sure if she's been mistreated in her baby years or not, but Margot is quite shy and skittish and requires a gentle, patient, loving touch. She is very submissive and will never show aggression of any kind, but she does get scared and shakes in apparent fear when being handled by strangers. Margot seems to understand about going potty outside and will make an attempt to either hold it or try to find the door to the yard. Walks are hard for her because she is shy and so right now she walks best on a leash with a harness. Leashes attached directly to her collar frighten her. Margot will thrive in a quieter home where she gets lots of gentle handling and patient love. She will come around and blossom with time but will need an understanding owner. Margot wants to be with people and will attempt to follow you through the house even though she will then flinch if you bend down to pet her. If you put her in your lap, she will curl up and seems to enjoy being stroked, letting out a big contented sigh when she gets comfortable. Margot has been vet checked and is very healthy. She is looking for her new forever loving home today!
Margot’s adoption donation is $475 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
