My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mocha was dumped in the Inland Empire with her brother, Mason, sister, Madison and mother, Marilyn. They were found just off of a major road with heavy traffic, huddled together in bushes, waiting for the people who dumped them to come back for them. None were spayed or neutered. Mocha is about ten months old and weighs eight pounds. She is a low-maintenance girl who does well with other dogs, male and female. We are working on crate and leash training as she had no experience with either prior to coming to Poochmatch, she is doing great with the crate and just needs more practice with the leash to learn the finer points. She is a quiet girl who is easily won over with sweet words and neck rubs. She would do well in a home with children that know how to handle small dogs. She has not been cat-tested.

If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Upon receipt AND approval, the dog you are interested in meeting will be made available to meet on a Saturday. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent. Please understand that private appointments will be coordinated to meet the convenience of the foster parent/transporter. We cannot hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.

All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, core vaccinations (rabies and 2 sets of distemper/parvo), fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
