Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marilyn was dumped with her ten month old puppies, Mason, Madison and Mocha off of a major road in the Inland Empire that has heavy traffic throughout the day. They were huddled in bushes together, waiting for the people that dumped them to come back for them. Marilyn has been the rock for her kids as they came into their foster home - she was more confident and showed them that no one was going to hurt them, allowing them to open up that much quicker by her example. She is quite the lady, low-maintenance, mellow and affectionate - she would be the ultimate lap dog. She enjoys being held and rides well in the car. She weighs about seven pounds and is 3-4 years old. Marilyn would do well in a home with children that know how to handle small dogs. She has not been cat-tested. She is doing well with crate-training and just needs a bit more practice with a leash to learn the finer points.
If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent.
All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, necessary vaccinations, fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
