My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, everyone! My name is Duke. I'm about 1.5 years old, and came from a shelter in Hayward. I don't remember much, but I think I've been a street dog all my life. I was covered in ticks and was in horrible condition when I arrived.

On the first day I came to my foster family, I didn't know how to walk on leash, and I was so scared to go inside the house! Now, I'm 100% doggy door trained and potty trained. I come on command, love my crate, and have begun to walk on leash MUCH better! Also, I used to be afraid of people, but now I LOVE everyone: People AND dogs. People tell my foster how pretty I am, when we walk on the street. I'm completely transformed to a people loving, dog loving, life loving dog, and I'm all ready for a forever home!
