Josie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Josie's Story...
Meet Josie a 10 month old female Heeler mix. Josie is still a puppy and very high energy. She is great with kids but would not recommend itty bitty kids. Older kids who won't be knocked down in her exuberance would be best. She loves her dog friends of all sizes. She is very loving and always excited to see her people. She loves her chew toys!! These help keep her from chewing on things she shouldn't. Josie would love to find an active family to keep up with her.

Josie is house trained and crate trained. She is ok on a leash and is continuing to learn.

Josie is spayed, microchipped, received her age-appropriate vaccinations and is on flea and heartworm prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a Weatherford Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Weatherford, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Weatherford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weatherford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weatherford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weatherford paves the way for another one to be saved.
