My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A local shelter reached out to Dusty Paws Rescue on behalf of a young Jack Russell Terrier mix they called Stewie. Stewie was very frightened when he first came into the shelter but each day he became braver, chasing a ball and interacting playfully with a Chihuahua. He even tried to play with the shelter mascot rooster.

Stewie is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, about 1 year old. He tends to be shy at first, but soon warms up to you. Stewie is now settling into a Dusty Paws foster home, where he is described as a "ball of energy" who would do well with an active, on-the-go family. He gets along with other dogs and with older children. His house training is progressing nicely. He can make it through the night until you let him out in early morning.
