Let me make one thing clear: once you start petting, there is no stopping unless I say so. It doesn’t get easier than that. I love attention and my whole body dances around while I am making happy paws. If I spot a person, I often lift one of my front legs, just like Pointer dogs do when they are focused on something or someone. That’s my message to you, come over though I will trot towards you too. That’s just a simple physics law, if we both walk towards each other, the petting can start much sooner.
