Hi, I’m Sampson! I'm looking for a great home, and I just know there is one out there looking for me too! I am a super happy and wiggly and playful, little pup. Though I did get pretty lucky in the looks department, I could really care less about all that because all I wanna do is tromp around and play outside and then kick back with my favorite people and wait for dinner to be ready :) I was adopted out into a home with 4 kids originally and would prefer a home without them now, I'm a low-key guy and that many kids was a lot for me. My anxiety got really high before I was returned and I'm currently on generic Prozac and am doing fabulous! I'm settling in to my foster home just great and have a foster sister I love playing with. I would either prefer a no dog or one dog home. I am housetrained, neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm also not a typical Lab mix, in that my foster mom has seen no destructive tendencies and hasn't seen me chew on any furniture or play with a toy, other than my squeaky Angry Bird ball that I like to retrieve. I am a typical Lab mix, though in that I LOVE people, car rides, sleeping on the bed, and eating treats.

About Rock City Rescue-AR chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

We are committed to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats who have been abandoned or lost. We pull dogs from high kill shelters to help them be united with loving forever home, as well as, help rehome animals found as strays and help families rehome their own pets they can no longer care for

Our Adoption Process...

All animals 3 months or older must be sterilized prior to adoption. There is an adoption contract that is signed once an adopter had been approved for an adoption. There is no fee to apply for a dog, but adoption fees vary from dog to dog.

Currently, this rescue is run by one person and a lot of foster homes. We have full-time jobs like everyone else, so please be patient with us while we return your calls and emails. 99% of the time, we return emails within 48-72 hours.
