Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LIESL is a wonderful, sweet senior cocker spaniel. She's little, weighing in at 20 lbs. LIESL came to us through another rescue who agreed to take her from an owner that no longer could or would care for her. LIESL had no hair on her hind end and was starting to loose it around her neck from fleas and skin infection. She also has suspicious tumors on her belly which we'll remove and biopsy in the near future. Then there are the normal, senior cocker issues - ears, eyes and teeth. Despite all of this, this dog is loving and sweet. She's in a wonderful foster home and gets along nicely with the other dogs. No issues with kids of any age. If any dog deserves a wonderful time that can take care of her the way a cocker should be, it's LIESL. We will get her good and started on her road to good health. Adopt Me! will take care of the surgeries and the xrays. She's already on meds for her skin and ears. When everything else is done, we might tackle her teeth. She's a senior but still is plenty active and alert. If you have the perfect home for this girl, please email adoptmebpr@aol.com for an application, or if you'd simply like to sponsor her treatment.
