Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ALEX came to us from the hills of West Virginia. A rescuer that used to live in Oldham County and now a resident of WVA, almost ran him over on the road - unfortunately an all to common occurrence in that neck of the woods. After avoiding the collision, she stopped, picked him up and took him home. She got his vetting started and kept him safe and fed until room opened up in our program. ALEX has been with us one short week and will be a excellent candidate for our PAWS BEHIND BARS prison dog training program. He's about 2-3 years old and weighs 45 lbs. He's very friendly but high energy. And if that really is border collie in there, he's plenty smart! He will make a great companion for an active family and due to his love to wander, he should have a fence. We are accepting applications now if interested in adopting. Please email adoptmebpr@aol.com
