Mesa-fostered in Minneapolis's Story...
Mesa is a sweet, beautiful, 2-year-old, Aussie mix boy! He loves being petted, playing with toys, going for walks, and learning new things. Mesa has a sweet, loving personality. This is a boy that will need to be brushed regularly which is good, because he loves it! Mesa gets along with other dogs at his foster home, and was raised with children and dogs. He is comfortable in a crate during the day, though is not fond of it. We are helping Mesa become more comfortable with car rides, and we're not yet sure about his ability to live with cats. Mesa will be happy whether he has canine siblings or as an only dog as long as he can be with his person!

Applications to adopt Mesa can be found at www.hoabcr.org
Mesa's adoption fee is $300 plus MN tax
Meetings will be set up after applications have been received and approved.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mesa-fostered in Minneapolis, a Ada Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Ada, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Ada.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ada already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ada breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ada paves the way for another one to be saved.
