Hello! My name is Akele. I was found by some good samaritans after wandering around on the streets for what seemed like an eternity. I had gotten very skinny, I was losing my hair, and I bite marks on me from where some other dog had attacked me. Luckily, they are professional dog trainers and they took me in and told me that they would help me get better. And boy, have I gotten better. Just look at my latest photos. I'm healthy, my fur has grown in, I'm the correct weight, and I feel just GREAT!

Now that I feel better and I know I'm safe, my playful nature has just blossomed. I'm having the time of my life: romping and chasing my foster K9 friends, tossing a ball around, and hanging out in the sun. I'm just enjoying the life of a pampered dog.

I have very nice manners, walk easily on a leash, and am very polite. I'm super friendly with all dogs. I also like children, but I might be a little too playful for small toddlers. Big people...Love everyone. I'm still a little hesitant when entering a new environment, but I've gained lots of confidence and I am learning that adventures can be fun. One adventure that I'm surely ready to tackle is to find a forever home and family. I'm really a wonderful guy and I'll be loyal, loving, and your best friend.
