My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Celeste. This soulful beauty is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever meet. She loves everyone she meets and just wants to crawl up in their lap and give them kisses. She was found as a stray in a not so great part of town. It was obvious she had just had puppies (she was still lactating). Our guess is her horrible former owners sold her puppies and turned her loose when she was no longer useful to them.
Now she is safe with us and very patiently waiting for her forever home. She a calm dog with a gentle energy. She walks beautifully on leash and never pulls (even when she spots a squirrel). She appears to be totally house trained and is not destructive. Celeste is fearful around large dogs so we prefer to place her as an only dog. She is not reactive to smaller dogs or dogs. Celeste ADORES children and whens he walks by the schoolyard she waits patiently for a pat on the head.
Celeste has had a rough start to her life and deserves to be in a loving forever home.
