Perry's Story...
Perry and his 2 brothers were found at a landfill by a lady that did not see the mum around and knew it was a place that people just dumped dogs. She said there was more puppies there but she was only able to get these 3. We were also told this is an area where people go out and shoot the stray dogs that are there. We went the next day to see if we could find the other puppies or any dog that might need help. We did not see anything but a bunch of dumped catfish and shot gun shells everywhere. We went back a couple of days later and still nothing. Poor Perry and his brothers were a mess. They were covered in fleas/ticks/lice and had sarcoptic mange. They were about 6 to 8 weeks when we got them. It took us a couple of months to get them back to health. They are now great, you would have no clue they were ever such a mess. We do not let our dogs or puppies go unless they are healthy. Perry looks like he is a Shepherd lab mix. This is just a guess as we have no clue on his parents. We think he will be around 40lbs but once again this is a guess. He is fully vetted meaning current on all shots, fixed, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. He is ready for a loving home that will never leave him in such an awful place every again.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Perry, a Allentown German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Allentown, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
