My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sweetie, A beautiful 9 month old Lab mix puppy.

Poor Sweetie had a very rough start in life.
Not only was she undernourished but, the sire of her litter attacked her and broke her jaw. She was taken to a vet but did not receive follow up treatment as she grew. Then she was offered up free to anyone that would take her. Luckily for Sweetie, a BAARK volunteer rescued her. She immediately received excellent medical treatment to repair her jaw and is now on a high quality diet. Sweetie is now a happy, playful puppy! She is also a very rambunctious girl and quite a handful at times. Because of her energy and need for attention, Sweetie should not be placed in a home with young children or where she would be regularly left alone for long hours. She would love a fenced yard for play and to run off some of her puppy energy!
An ideal forever home for Sweetie would be with someone devoted to giving her the stucture she needs to become the wonderful companion we know she can be. Obedience training is recommended to help her learn good puppy manners and to bond with her new family.

All pets in our program receive excellent medical care, are up to date on vaccinations, on monthly heartworm preventative, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.
