Ruby is a mix of Pyrenees and Dalmatian. We are not sure where she was born, but we think she and Libra might be sisters. Libra was spayed, but Ruby was pregnant when we rescued her. She has been spayed now and is ready to have a safe home and loving family. Her mom moved and left her behind with Libra....we were called and it was an emergency but she and Libra were left to run free and roam in a questionable area regarding their safety.
A secure fenced area is required as it is for every dog we adopt . Ruby is very affectionate and likes attention. You can see in pic #3 her tail wagging!

They are darling girls and can be adopted together or separately.

About Texas Best Choices Animal Rescue

About Our Shelter...

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..

Donate to Our Shelter...

Find the Pay Pal Donate Button on our Petfinder page or Facebook page.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.
