Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Esther's story is a sad one, she found herself in a rural Kentucky shelter when she was pregnant. She had her kittens in the shelter, but the building wasn't heated and they succumbed to hypothermia. But when a litter of kittens were found nearby in need of a surrogate mother when their mother's milk dried up prematurely, Esther was introduced to the kittens and she immediately adopted them as her own. She was a very good mama, and the kittens are now all in their forever homes, so it's Esther's turn to be the baby of the family. She is a friendly girl, but a bit timid around new people so give her some time to get to know you. Once comfortable she is lively and playful, and she will adapt to a variety of family situations easily.
