RUSTY's Story...
Name: Rusty

Age: Around 5 years old!

Introduction: Hello, folks. Rusty here! In addition to my rugged good looks, I am
described as a gentle and playful boy. (I can be a bit shy at first but once I find my
family, my true purr-sonality will shine!)

Likes: I really like playing with catnip squares and mouse toys. (Who wouldn’t?) Oh, and I LOVE having my cheeks and chin scratched!

Cutest Characteristic: Calm and gentle and a real snuggle bug! His foster Mom describes him as a “little purr machine”. He’s well behaved while having his nails trimmed. If that wasn’t enough, he’s even a fan of (small) dogs!

If you're interested in adopting me, please email info@teamcatrescue.ca!

Adoption fee is $175 for adults which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip.

We do not adopt outside of Southern Ontario and do not have a shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RUSTY, a THORNHILL Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in THORNHILL, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in THORNHILL.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in THORNHILL already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a THORNHILL breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in THORNHILL paves the way for another one to be saved.
