Rupert is a male Poodle/Jack Russell Terrier mix only 1 year old. He is a nice, sturdy 12 pounds with longer legs and a soft, wavy coat of ivory and apricot highlights. He appears to be low/non-shedding and has been professionally groomed. Rupert is a vivacious, outgoing, social young dog. He loves to play with other dogs and is great with both big and small canine friends. He clearly has a zest for life that shows in all he does. Rupert enjoys romping in the backyard and has an outdoorsy side to him where he would most likely enjoy hikes and trips to the park or dog beach, although he does not necessarily require that. He is interested in everything around him and appears to be quite intelligent, quickly picking up the ways of the household and how things work around him. Rupert is quick and attentive and might even excel in canine agility, sports or just a rousing game of fetch or frisbee in the backyard. He rides well in the car and walks great on leash. Inside the home, Rupert wants to be where his people are and will follow you through the house, settling down at beside you while you do housework or snuggle beside you while watching TV. He is very adaptable and knows how to fit in. His demands are few and mostly he just wants to be included. Rupert is great with kids and doesn't mind lots of attention and handling. He has a sweetly affectionate side which becomes readily apparent in a short amount of time. He loves treats and will gladly learn tricks for them. Rupert was rescued from a life of neglect by a fellow animal lover and is a wonderful save. He has a bright future ahead of him and will make an outstanding family pet. Another playful dog in the home would be an added bonus for Rupert. Rupert will thrive in an environment where he is included in daily family life. He has been vet checked, is very healthy. Rupert is looking for his new forever loving home today!
Rupert’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Rupert is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.
