Boomer's Story...
Meet Boomer. His family was moving and decided not to take him, so they surrendered him to a local shelter rather than back to 4 PAWS. We are still trying to figure out why?! Boomer had a great day at the Rock and Rescue event, he was mingling with other dogs and lots of people. He is housebroken and crate trained, his shots are current and he is neutered. Boomer was originally born into the rescue on 6/15/16. This boy is a catch!

If interested in adoption, please complete an online application on 4 Paws Animal Rescue's website at www.4pawz.org. We verify the care of past/current pets. Our goal is to have the very best home for all our dogs and cats and therefore we reserve the right to approve or deny an application based on what we determine is in the pet's best interest.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boomer, a Hayes Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Hayes, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hayes.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hayes already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hayes breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hayes paves the way for another one to be saved.
