Patrick came to our shelter as a stray and no one came to claim him. This sweet guy can be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he loves attention! Patrick gets along with other cats that give him his personal space, and loves all people. He is an easy-going kitty that just asks for a nice, soft place to sleep. Take him home today!

We are a government agency dedicated to providing animal services to the communities of Davis County.

Our Goal
"To provide service to the people and the animals of Davis County, through the professional operation of the Davis County Animal Shelter and animal care and control programs. Services shall be rendered in an efficient, effective, and conscientious manner. These services shall include, but are not limited to; sheltering of unwanted, stray and abandoned pets, euthanasia of animals, adoption, redemption, lost and found services, providing of resource information, and public education as well as the taking and processing of all requests for service. These and other similar services shall be provided in a friendly, compassionate, and pro-active manner at all times."

We are open M-F 8AM-5PM and are located at 1422 E 600 N in Fruit Heights, UT. Please call for directions (801)-444-2200.
We encourage the whole family including any furry ones to come along when looking at one of our adoptable animals. Often on Saturdays we hold an adoption event at a local Petsmart or Petco. Please call on Friday to get the location and/or time for the weekend adoption event.

Our Adoption Process...

All of our adoptable dogs and cats will be be spayed or neutered before they can be adopted out.
Dogs: adoption fee includes spay/neuter, first set of shots, microchip and county license (for davis county residents). Cats: adoption fee includes spay/neuter, first set of shots, microchip and county license (for davis county residents if applicable within your city).
