Honey's Story...
Meet Honey! Miss Honey is just so sweet, her foster mom just had to name her Honey. This precious girl is approximately one year old and currently weighs around 30 pounds and is considered a "pocket pittie". Honey is an absolutely adorable and happy girl who loves to give kisses. She's good with other dogs and has been respectful ofthe cats in her foster home. Honey is current with vaccinations, spayed, microchipped. Honey had a rough start in life, but has blossomed in her foster home. When she first came to us, she had a bad case of demodex and was malnourished and skinny. But just look at this beautiful girl now. Honey still has a lot of puppy playfulness but she loves to snuggle up with you too.
Honey will be a wonderful companion for one lucky family.

if you'd like to know more about Honey, contact her foster mom at pattidcarson@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Baton Rouge Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
