My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marvel is a small 10 pound, 10 year old boy who is looking for some love!

Marvel would do well in a home with children and other dogs of any size. He is very interested in kitties and likes to bark at them, so a cat free home would be best.

Marvel is working on his house training. He does very well with his ‘in house’ manners as long as his foster mom and dad are at home but when they leave for work he does have some ‘stress’ accidents sometimes. Like all dachshunds he will need to be confident in his environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience

Marvel loves to go for walks and does very well on a leash. He adores car rides and loves to look out the window on trips.

Every day is Tongue Out Day for Marvel as he only has 5 lower front teeth which means that cute little tongue hangs out just ready to give kisses!

Marvel is full of love and although he has good energy levels his favourite thing is a good snuggle. Marvel loves to sit on a loving lap or cuddle beside an available arm or leg. A true doxie, Marvel’s love of life extends to food and he does a little circle bouncy dance at meal times.
