My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

7/6/18- Update- Mattie was adopted and was so loved for the last year.
Her new owner adored her and they were a perfect match. Unfortunately her adopter passed away very unexpectedly a few weeks ago. Mattie is back with us now. Mattie is one special cat. She came into our shelter as a nursing mom with many babies. They were all in rough shape, but Mattie was the worse for wear. She had matted fur and was very thin. When we took her to be tested, we found out she was FIV positive. She was such a sweet and gentle soul, we sent her to foster to fatten up and nurse her little ones. She has since raised her babies, and is now in great shape. She is ready for her forever home. Being FIV positive, she will need an adopter who understands what that will mean for her. She will likely lead a very happy and healthy life, but I would suggest researching the topic or calling us to ask questions. Mattie is one special cat.
