Meet Delilah,
An absolutely adorable 7 year old Dachshund.
Who could have a pet and keep them locked in a small room all day, every day, with no attention at all? Well, that's what they did to poor, sweet Delilah. Finally, a volunteer that heard of this cruelty convinced the owner to surrender her to BAARK.
Delilah was suffering from ear and skin infections caused by food allergies and a bit overweight but, is now getting proper care and a healthy diet and is feeling much better.
Delilah is a gentle soul and wants nothing more than to love and be loved. She enjoys walks and loves to cuddle on the couch, in bed, or just about anywhere! She is a very quiet little girl and doesn't bark much at all. Delilah is pee pad trained but, her foster is working with her so that she learns to go potty outside.
After all of the neglect she has suffered, this little girl deserves a home that will continue to keep her on a healthy diet and spoil her with love for the rest of her life.
