My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Preference is given to past or present Persian owners. To meet Nellie please fill out our application at: http://ajsbestfriends.org/all-pets/questionnaire/ Nellie is a 4yr old spayed female White Persian with gold eyes. She gets along really well with other cats. Her past owner was an overwhelmed Breeder with way too many cats to care for. Grooming was ignored, so when she arrived in rescue she was shaved. She never knew what it felt like to be brushed, combed or petted. Since being here, she has learned that she needs to be brushed (she is still squirming to get away, but she is a LOT better). She still dislikes having her nails trimmed. She has learned how to play from interacting with the other cats. Her favorite toys are furry mice and ping pong balls. She has come a long way from the shy reclusive sick little girl in the overcrowded breeders home, and we feel she is now ready to be someone's special lifetime loving kitty. Nellie is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped. WE DO NOT SHIP - NO CHILDREN UNDER 12yrs of age - NO DOGS
