Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name, Delilah
Breed, German short hair pointer (cropped tail already)
Age 1 to 2 years old
Sex female
Spayed/Neutered
Weight ~45 lbs
Good with kids – yes he is very sweet with children. His original owner had some and that was not an issue. She is still hyper though, and will sometimes jump up.
Good with other dogs – yes, she is a little scared in the kennel with the other dogs barking, but once let out she is fine. The lady who saved her from the original owner had a hound dog and they played together in the backyard.
Good with cats – do not know
House broken – do not know
Crate trained – do not know
Good on leash – yes, but does like to stop a lot, just needs some encouraging
Any story that would attract people.
Delilah is a great dog. I picked her up the other day and she just got right in her crate in the car. She is very inquisitive of new things. She loves to jump up and have you snuggle her face to your face. She would make someone a great dog. Her tail is already docked. She is currently sleeping in a dog house with Sally. Sally is more laid back than Delilah, so Sally just looks at her like “give me a break”. Delilah just loves to run.
We are just featuring this dog for an other organization. Please contact the directly via phone: 404-569-4652 or email at Tina.Havard@delta.com
Delilah is located in Georgia. This organization has rescue transport available every weekend to bring the dogs from the south in their new forever homes in the North.
