My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you look outside and see a lot of stray dogs roaming the streets? Me neither. Hatchi here and I am a “stray dog” who ended up at Animal Control and from there I travelled to Animatch. I’ve got a bone to pick. On arrival, lo and behold I find out that most of the dogs here are so-called “strays”. Baloney …. we were just unwanted; we wore our welcome and our humans didn’t have the “b----“to admit they had made a mistake. So, what do you do when you have no courage? You either make up a story for Animal Control that you found the dog, you drive him to another neighbourhood where there is no chance he will find his way home, or you tie him up at a shopping centre or a train station (that’s a popular one). We do so appreciate the Good Samaritans who pick up dogs and bring them to safety. No one ever sees any posters with our face on them begging to bring us home. Nope, just to be sure there are no happy reunions the human removes anything that might identify us. Dogs like me are neither microchipped nor wearing an ID; most of the time we aren’t sterilized or vaccinated either!

Now that I’ve got that off my chest, I’ll tell you what I’m looking for in a human. An active, Husky-lover, who will give me the exercise and training that I crave. I get along with other dogs but like many Huskies, I can play rough. Insofar as cats are concerned, I’d prefer a home where there are none. A fenced yard to keep me safe would be a bonus. If you are looking for a hiking or jogging partner, sounds like we could strike up a deal. If you are ready for the commitment of sharing your life with a Husky, please do fill in the Adoption Form. I’ll be checking them all out and picking my best match. No more of this unwanted “stray” life for me!
