Sparky's Story...
Sparky is an adorable 1-2 year old male terrier/fiest mix and weighs around 20 lbs. This sweet boy is a cuddler! He loves nothing more than curling up on the couch with his foster family. He also enjoys chasing cows that live near his foster family. His foster mom describes him as a big dog in a little dog’s body. Sparky can be a little shy when he meets new people but he warms up quickly. He gets along great with children but probably would do best in a family without small children because he tends to stay underfoot and small children may not appreciate all the attention he would give them. He gets along great with the dogs and cats in his foster home! He will even cuddle up with the cats to take an afternoon nap. He takes regular walks with his family on a retractable leash and loves spending time outside. He is crate and house trained, rarely barks, and is currently working on learning a few tricks! Sparky is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is currently being fostered near Huntsville, AL but he is available in your area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky, a Marietta Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
