My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mindy is a 1 1/2 year old Shih Tzu . Mindy was chained to our porch with a note, saying that they found our dog. Mindy actually had on a Rabies Tag that came from one of our clinics, therefore they thought she belonged to us. We searched our records and found her owner, when given a call...they said that they could no longer care for her and surrendered her to us. Mindy has done a lot of traveling in her short life...she originally came from Charlotte. Mindy's hair was matted so, that she had to receive a short summer hair cut. Mindy's hair when it comes back out will be blonde with brown ears. We have had her spayed and she is Heartworm negative. Mindy has spent much of her life outside and has not been house trained yet. Mindy is a lap dog and likes to play ball. She would be great in just about any home, but especially in a home with someone willing to train her her manners. It might be best if there were no kitties in the home.....she has suddenly decided that she likes to give them a chase. Mindy weighs 12 and a half pounds and is full grown. Wouldn't you like to see this little sweet lady settle down into your lap and your home??
