Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Angelica, who we call Angel for short. Because, quite simply, she is one! If you are looking for a devoted companion, Angel would be perfect. She has a very sweet personality and just loves everyone. Angel gets along with all other dogs, from young puppies to seniors, and also with cats. She is good with kids of all ages.
This dog is not a diamond in the rough, she is about as polished as they come! Angel is house trained, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and loves to ride in the front seat of the car. Inside the house she is well mannered, and likes to curl up at your feet or next to you in her doggy bed. The worst things her foster home can say: sometimes she barks at other dogs, or jumps on you for attention.
Angel is between 1 and 2 years old, well past the puppy stage. Although she looks like a large dog in her pictures, she is much closer to medium: she weighs 50 pounds but should probably weigh 45. As far as her breed, she could be many different things: she has the goofy, loving personality of a lab, the speckles of a border collie, the ears of a terrier, and a broad head like a boxer or pitbull.
Angel is in a private foster home and is shown by appointment, after an application has been processed. You can request an application by emailing info@adoptapet-il.org, calling 847-550-9690, or download from our website www.adoptapet-il.org.
Angel's adoption fee of $310 includes vet exam, routine vet exam, DAPP distemper combo vaccination, bordetella vaccination, rabies vaccination, flea/tick preventative, heartworm test (negative), heartworm preventative, routine deworming, microchip and spay.
