My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 2 years
Gender: Male
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 45 lbs
Variety: Bench

Here is Baxter, a wonderful boy who seeks your attention and affection. He has great energy, and he is eager to please his foster family.

Baxter is housetrained and crate trained. He will need regular exercise, and he would benefit from obedience training courses. Baxter enjoys taking car rides, going for long walks around the neighborhood, and snoozing at your feet. His foster family thinks that he could be a great hunter because he has a natural talent for chasing squirrels, rabbits, birds, and other small critters.

This youngster is smart, and he catches on quite quickly. Although Baxter currently lives with other dogs, his Forever Home should have no other resident dogs, as he prefers not to share the attention of the family members. Baxter does fine with older, dog-savvy children.

Baxter would be a great companion if you are looking for a Springer shadow. He is ready to go for walks and take in the world with you, and of course he is always up for a good game of fetch in the backyard. He is a sweet boy who deserves a home to call his own. Please let us know if you would like to meet Baxter!

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Baxter.
