Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maya is true to the hound breed and can be quite a barker when she is alone in her kennel. We have had her in the front office several times and have not heard a peep out of her the whole time. She is super sweet and loves attention. She is also gentle and has a calm demeanor. Maya is a very smart girl and she knows sit, lay down, and shake. She will make someone a wonderful companion. Maya must meet all family members that reside in the home. We do recommend that if a home has small children that she is watched around doors because she may run out and follow her nose (although we have not noticed any door dashing here at the shelter it may be different at a home).
Maya is not yet spayed yet, and will need to be spayed before she is adopted out. We are still taking applications on her however.
