My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Mona!

I am a 2 year old sweetheart looking for a furever home to call my own. I had a home previously, but when my people moved, they decided not to take me. I was left all by myself in a local mobile home park for over a month. Thankfully some of the area residents were looking out for me, and made sure that i could always find food. Recently, they called the humane society, and one of the staff members immediately came out to chauffeur me to the shelter.

Now, i still have yummy meals everyday but I also am very happy to finally have a safe cozy kennel to curl up in while I wait for my second chance.

I can be a little shy- after being broken up with by my original family, I wasn't in a hurry to trust right away. But for the right person, who is patient and understanding, I will be the most loving friend ever. I have a purr motor that loves to run, and I have the softest fur you will ever feel!! It was made for long nights of snuggling together on the couch, while you pet me!
