My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This 5 year old girl had a rough 2 weeks stuck in a city pound after being picked up as a stray. She was frightened to death in such a scary, noisy place and acted out causing her caretakers label her as a vicious dog. This is no surprise given that she is a tiny thing (maybe 8 pounds) and was no match for the larger, stronger dogs who surrounded her. I saw the initial videos and could see the scared, anxious dog underneath her toughie exterior so we pulled her out and it showed my assessment was correct. Charlotte has morphed into a loving cuddle bug who just wants to sit on your lap. She snuggles up real close when we go to sleep at night and is an all around great companion. That's not to say she doesn't have her moments, as an example, she does not like to be grabbed by her collar around her neck area and will snap. For full disclosure, Miss Charlotte is a biter! For that reason, we will only consider an adult only home to avoid any negative interactions with kids. She can be a bit bark when she is in her crate so if you plan on leaving her alone for any length of time and want to crate her for her safety, she would not be a good choice for apartment living. Outside the crate she is quite and sits quietly by herself on the couch or a big, soft, comfy bed. Charlotte is all vetted (vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative) and will be microchipped prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $300.

We keep our website current so if you see a pet listed here you can be pretty certain it is still available. Send in an application located here and we will be in touch. (www.allstar.petfinder.com)
There is an adoption fee if you decide to take one of our "All Star Pets" home. We prefer homes within a 50 mile radius of Linden, NJ.
