Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You are not going to believe the day I had!
I arrived in Tucson yesterday. It was a LONG ride from Kansas. After we got to the resort, we each had a bath and a nice dinner. It was exhausting, but I think I'm going to like it here.
The peoples told me my pet name was Twizzler. I'm already red and stripey but not twisty. I decided to concentrate on my new name so I'd remember it when someone called me. (If I ace pet doggie class, maybe I'll get a forever family sooner.)
Anyway, I must have concentrated a little too hard, because all of a sudden I was REALLY sick. I had to potty and vomit at the same time, and my chest got all swelled up.
Fortunately, Ms. Wanda noticed right away. She and her grandson, Arlen, threw me in the car and sped to VSCOT.
I had emergency surgery last night to untwist my stomach! I'm feeling better today, and if I stop bleeding, I can go back to the resort tomorrow. (I'm on special greyhound drugs to help me stop bleeding.)
One of my aunties told me I'm going to have to get a job to pay for the expensive surgery. Maybe I can be a doggie model or something. As long as my career doesn't interfere with getting an "A" in my pet doggie class, I'm in!
I've Earned My Name,
Twizzler
