My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ARCTIC GEM is an eight-year-old lilac point Siamese female cat. Arctic Gem was acquired for breeding purposes, and she’s been quite the workhorse in her lifetime. The breeder is experiencing health issues, and Gem came to us. Gem does lack some social skills with humans, and our staff and volunteers will be industriously convincing her that humans are great companions for felines! Gem will flourish in a quiet home that will be patient and understanding of a life spent making kittens, and with no knowledge of another life that could be hers. She’s a beautiful girl, with lilac point markings and china blue eyes. If you have time and patience, we’re betting Arctic Gem will be a success story, for herself and her human companion!

At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and a fecal test.
