My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This precious little girl is approx 18 months and 10 lbs. She looks like toy terrier mix, maybe poodle/shih tzu. She is the ultimate lap dog. She is very timid around lots of dogs and would do better on her own or with just one or two small ones. She is very sweet and well behaved. As she is a little timid we would prefer a home with no small children - preferably adult family only. She seems to be fairly well house trained and does well on a leash.

The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
